为了解决外国人在淘宝或天猫购物时面对的一系列困难，三位好友因此聚在一起，萌生了创造 Baopals 的念头。我们的平台于 2016 年 3 月起首次开放给公众，成长迅速，一路上集结了许多志趣相投的朋友，旨在为 Baopals 的客户提供更好的购物体验。

• 产品简介

Baopals 让外国人能够轻轻松松的通过我们的网站在淘宝和天猫上购物。所有平台上的产品采取英文介绍，让西方人习惯使用的产品变得更容易查找，而且接受外国人适用的支付方式。这个平台在 2016 年 3 月开放给公众，目前以售出超过 400,000 件商品。新版 Baopals 页面将在 2017 年夏天投入使用。

职位要求

• 3-4 年以上 Web 开发经验
• 1-2 年以上 Ruby on Rails 或者同类架构开发经验
• 熟悉常见后端技术架构，了解互联网产品和服务的开发过程
• 熟悉电子商务平台
• 有编写单元测试的习惯
• 熟悉 PostgreSQL, Redis, 了解常见的数据库系统
• 乐于学习，对新技术充满热情，强烈的责任心和良好的团队合作精神
• 熟悉 Linux/Unix 平台下的常用命令及环境部署

加分项

• 精通其他编程框架（比如 ReactJS/nodelJS）
• 熟悉淘宝 API

• 使用工具包括 Ruby on Rails and React

• 精通 Javascript/HTML/CSS
• 注重用户体验，具有一定审美
• 管理 REST APIs 的相关经验
• 有开源网络应用搭建（Ruby on Rails）相关经验
• 团队协作能力，共同运行 GIT
• 精通 HTTP, AJAX, and 远程 API 设计（remote API design）
• 能够熟练在 Linux, 服务器，目录，数据库，and 其他*nix 系统上工作
• UI 应用，MVC 模式运行相关经验

• 构建 React 和 Redux 系统的相关经验
• 测试驱动的开发，和自动生成用户的界面测试的相关经验

About Us

• Become part of the Baopals family

Baopals began when three best friends came together to solve a problem they all shared: not having a convenient way to shop on Taobao and Tmall. Since launching the platform in March 2016, the team has quickly expanded, bringing together like-minded problem solvers committed to making life easier for Baopals’ customers.

• Pioneer with us

Baopals is the first platform of its kind, but we’re only just getting started. We are making bold bets and finding ways not just to improve, but to reinvent on behalf of our customers.

• The Product

Baopals allows foreigners to easily to browse, view, and purchase products directly from Taobao and Tmall. All product information is available in English, great products are easy to find, payment and delivery are a cinch, and the customer service quality is second to none. The platform launched in March 2016 and has already sold over 400,000 items. Version 2.0 of Baopals is gearing up for launch by Summer 2017.

Full Stack Engineer

Salary and Benefit

• Salary: 20-30k/m
• Hours: 9am to 6pm, five days per week (flexible)
• Location: Shanghai office, Huangpu District

What you bring to the table

• 3-4+ years web development
• 1-2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails (or similar frameworks)
• A strong background in backend development and good understanding of the web development life cycle
• Familiarity with marketplace eCommerce platforms
• Experience with using testing frameworks for creating bulletproof code
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases
• Willingness to learn and experiment with new technology
• Familiarity with Linux based servers
• Experience with development and integration of REST APIs, including testing and deployment

Bonus points if you are proficient with other programming frameworks (e.g. ReactJS/nodeJS)

Bonus points if you are familiar with Taobao’s API

What You'll Be Doing

• Use tools that include Ruby on Rails and React
• Build on the existing success of the Baopals platform with a close-knit and passionate team
• Hash out details of new features and write unit and integration tests of to make sure they are rock-solid
• Develop stable, secure, usable e-commerce software
