Responsibilities
- Develop & maintain customized Discourse plugins
- Modify and expand Discourse core capabilities
- Construct new community functions and business workflows
- Connect third-party APIs and AI service interfaces
- Optimize system performance and expand platform scalability
- Diagnose and fix online production faults
- Cross-team cooperation with product & community teams
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
- Solid Ruby on Rails development background
- Practical Discourse plugin development track record
- In-depth grasp of Discourse underlying architecture
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redis
- Hands-on experience with Docker & Linux operation
- Skilled in Git and mainstream development processes
- Capable of reading English technical documents smoothly
Preferred Qualifications
- Operation experience of large-scale online communities
- Discourse Theme Components development experience
- Ember.js relevant knowledge
- Past integration work with AI/LLM APIs
- Open-source contribution history
- DevOps or cloud infrastructure experience
