The Role: You are an experienced Ruby on Rails developer and will collaborate with architects, front end designers, and other web engineers. You are an expert in all aspects of ruby on rails web programming and demonstrate a history of on-time delivery, excellent communication, work autonomously, take ownership of initiatives, and have a positive entrepreneurial attitude.

Description:

The Ruby on Rails Developer will be responsible for developing sophisticated web applications with integration to the backend (e.g. Databases, XML Feeds, etc) in a highly collaborative environment. The person must have strong Ruby on Rails (RoR), MySQL Database and XML experiences, and able to use various web technologies with best practices and proper coding standards.

The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of software design patterns, a clear understanding of web and designing for best application performance.

Responsibilities: · Commercial website application design and development · Develop website applications using the Ruby on Rails (RoR) web application framework · Work seamlessly with frontend developers, UI/web designers to produce high quality deliverables · Work with other development team members, team leads and the project manager to deliver projects on-time and within budget · Capable of working with very tight deadlines · Attention to detail and accuracy · Quality assurance on newly developed applications · Research and Development (R&D) on new technology areas
