Senior Mobile Engineer (HC: 1)

Description

Docyt is seeking a self-driven and motivated Mobile Engineer who is comfortable working in both iOS and Android platforms and who will help us to get our platform to the next level. This is a hands-on role with a good amount of technical leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of delivering complex mobile development and should be able to efficiently collaborate with a distributed software engineering team by conducting code reviews. By partnering with the Product team, the candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of some of our most critical projects.

Role and responsibilities

• Work on enhancement and improving of the existing application for the Android platform (Kotlin).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with the UI/UX team to implement intuitive user interfaces.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new mobile technologies to improve the app.
• Optimize app performance and reliability.
• Ensure app security and data protection.
• Create and maintain app documentation.

Requirements

• 3 years of mobile development experience with Kotlin.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP).
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
