Responsibilities:
• Design, build and evolve our customer facing and internal command-n-control portals
• Continue to evolve architecture to support scalable and available portal access in SaaS environment
• Work with team on continuous improvement of portals in areas of performance, usability, functionality, scalability, and availability
• Work as both individual contributor and as project lead when required
• Mentor and share knowledge with other members of the team
Requirements:
• 4+ years full-stack expertise in Ruby on Rails
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra)
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• String Object-Oriented skills
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong time and project management skills
• Strong language skills, in English and Chinese, for written and spoken communications
• Work in bilingual environment and with Western managers
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
“Plus”Qualifications and Qualities desired:
• Experience working with SaaS products
• Experience with Amazon or similar cloud systems&lt;/p&gt;
