Junior Developer, Ruby-on-Rails

We are hiring an aspiring Junior Ruby developer. But read these before you apply:

KEY FUNCTIONS & WEB DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENT

Work directly with company founders and development team to produce and maintain a number of web applications Work with Ruby based platform, in conjunction with MySQL or PostgreSQL Work with Ajax and JavaScript code to deliver seamless user interactions (we also use jQuery framework) Must be comfortable with MVC design pattern Demonstrate experience in reading and modifying the code written by other developers Demonstrate experience in test driven development, or at a minimum, maintain a suite of developer unit tests Experience in delivering scalable application (both the frontend load balancing and backend expansion) Proficient in using source control tools (like Git) Have e-commerce experience, such as secure financial transaction Passionate for software development and Object Oriented design Familiarity with social networking sites and best practices for integrating with them Proficient in Linux system (predominantly ubuntu)

About 1 + years of Working knowledge with Ruby on Rails Experience in Ruby gems and apply them to our products (essentially, build your code on top of work contributed by open community / plugins / gems)
